To celebrate the official Year of Australia Japan Exchange, SOAP coordinated various activities over four days at the 2006 Australian Springtime Flora Festival. 

The Australia-Japan Pavilion, officially opened by Mayor of Edogawa, Masami Tada, was a major attraction. Bonsia Master, Kunio Kobayashi, was another big drawcard.  SOAP also thanks the Edogawa Homestay Club for its major contribution.
